All setup and ready to go for the Sunshine Tour XXVI

Vejer de La Frontera (ESP), February 12, 2019 – Everything is already prepared for riders originating from 29 different countries kicking-off the most important Tour in Europe. Over the 6 weeks of the Tour,  more than 2000 horses will compete.

The programme for this week includes a CSIYH and a CSI2* ranging in height from 1.20m to 1.45m, with two FEI, Longines Ranking classes.

Here at the Sunshine Tour you will hear big names like Roger Yves Bost, Frank Schuttert, Eric Van der Vleuten, the Columbian rider Carlos López Lizarazo and Michel Robert, sound out across the tannoys as they enter the spectacular arenas.

After the enormous investment made last season in the installations here at Montenmedio, the Blazquez family, the owners of the Circuit and its facilities, continue to strive to improve the services for competitors and their teams. They are proud to offer new services such as equine treadmills, spas, and newly asphalted and landscaped areas. The showground has also recently achieved certification by the body specialized in organic land management, the CAAE,  which guarantees ecological management of all green areas and makes the showground the very first national sports center to achieve such a status.

Other improvements this year are new options in the Tour’s App. Now amongst other things, riders can order supplies online, create rider alerts, carry their digital accreditation and, as well as looking at the starting orders and the live results, they can also sign up to follow the Live Streaming.

The classes will be broadcast live through our official website and also on the equestrian channel Clip My Horse.
