Prague, November 14, 2019 – The blockbuster line up for the GC Prague Playoffs can be revealed today with awesome rider and horsepower heading to the big showdown of 2019 with only one week to go.

An incredible field of the world’s greatest show jumping athletes will be in action at the O2 arena where the GCL Super Cup and the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix will unfold in a four-day cliffhanger.

GCL teams are deploying all the heavy weapons in their armory with many taking advantage of their ability to send four riders. This gives GCL team owners and managers the flexibility to make crucial tactical decisions each day as only three riders per team can actually compete in the Quarter, Semi and Final stages of the GCL Super Cup.

LGCT and GCL Champions, including many of the most famous Olympians in equestrianism, will be converging in the capital of the Czech Republic next week for the ultimate showdown in show jumping.

Newly crowned 2019 LGCT Champion Ben Maher (GBR) and a cavalcade of stars including big names such as Marcus Ehning (GER), Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS), Martin Fuchs (SUI), Ludger Beerbaum (GER), Peder Fredricson (SWE), Daniel Deusser (GER), Pieter Devos (BEL), and Simon Delestre (FRA) are in the A-list line-up.

Last year’s sell-out event saw Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS) lift the LGCT Super Grand Prix trophy, while Madrid in Motion fought off high pressured attacks from 15 other teams to take the inaugural GCL Super Cup. But with such a high caliber of riders yet again heading to Prague’s O2 arena, anticipation is rife to see who will emerge victorious this year.

With Prague, just a short trip away from many neighboring European countries, the final event of the 2019 Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL season is set to be an absolute cracker with something for all the family to enjoy.
