Sport and trade on top in Fontainebleau

Fontainebleau, September 2015 – The Grande Semaine de Fontainebleau 2015 – the French young show jumping horses finals – has fully met its goals. The event was full of horses, riders, breeders, owners and more importantly, buyers!

For the purpose of this major event for the sport horse industry is threefold: to train new jumping horse generations, enhance the expertise of breeders and riders, and promote the marketing of French production. Many transactions took place on the arenas, and many foreign buyers – Irish, Italian, Dutch, and Belgian particularly – bought horses. This reinforces the key role of the French Horse Society (SHF) in the sector, a role she has been developing for 150 years now. On sport side, 12 champion titles have been awarded in 9 days.
