Bologna, August 12, 2021 – The ‘Olympic’ auction collection of the very first Exclusive KWPN Jumping Foal Auction will go down as a successful one. The high-quality foals were appreciated, once again, by foreign investors. The topseller of the evening was Reaction W van ‘t Studutch.
Explosion W’s nephew, Chacco-Blue son Reaction W van ‘t Studutch, was sold to Sweden for 32,000 euros. Eight of the thirteen foals were bought by foreign bidders. Radelia van de Keihill, a filly by El Barone 111 Z out of the Grand Prix mare Cardelia, fetched 20,000 euros. She has been sold to a Hungarian buyer. Roulette ES (s.Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof), a daughter of the 1.50m mare A.Vaantje R, is leaving for Lithuania for 17,000 euros.
On average, the foals brought in more than 12,500 euros tonight and almost 80% has actually been sold. «We can say that this auction seems to meet the need. The collection stood out because of the interestingly bred foals, all from a good dam line. This is well received by showjumping horse enthusiasts, with a striking number of foreign bidders joining in tonight. This first edition was a success and worth repeating» said Wim Versteeg.
