It is scheduled to be released by G Editions on July 27, 2021 and looks like it will gain great success in the worldwide equestrian community.

A visually poetic coupling of words and pictures, Her Horse documents the range of experiences and relationships Dratfield has witnessed between humans and their beloved horses. The book features celebrities ranging from show jumping superstars Beezie Madden, Georgina Bloomberg and Jessica Springsteen to the likes of comedian Whitney Cummings and actresses Beth Behrs and Kaley Cuoco.

The photographs are accompanied by quotations from the women themselves, as well as from luminaries throughout history like Horace, Albert Einstein and Queen Elizabeth II, all of which perfectly express this distinctive affinity.

A Foreword by Georgina Bloomberg describes the subject from the perspective of a major horsewoman, while EQUUS Foundation president Lynn Coakley introduces the many entities that support these special bonds. All combine to offer a stylish and heartfelt collection.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the EQUUS Foundation.

Who is the Author

JIM DRATFIELD is the author/photographer of twelve previous books that elegantly and lovingly chronicle the lifestyle of cats, dogs, and horses, his most notable being the bestseller Pug Shots (Penguin) and The Quotable Equine (Random House).
