What a wonderful season in Valkenswaard

Jan Tops’ world-class venue will welcome all levels of horses and riders in a great spring-summer string of competitions

Bologna, January 21, 2021 – The stunning state-of-the-art Tops International Arena (TIA) will host eight major show jumping events throughout the spring and summer of 2021.

The world-class venue will welcome all levels of horses and riders from around the world to its showground in Valkenswaard, The Netherlands.

Kick-off is in April with two back to back CSI3*, CSI1* and YH (dedicated 5, 6, 7 year old classes) events on 9 – 11 April and 16 – 18 April before TIA will run two CSI4*, CSI2*, CSI1*, and YH shows, on 7 – 9 May and 11 – 13 June.

The busy season at TIA continues into July with a CSI5*, CSI2*, CSI1* and YH show on 8 – 11 July followed by a CSI4*, CSI2*, CSI1* and YH event on 16 – 18 July.

This year again, Tops International Arena will host international riders on ponies up to U25 riders at the Global Future Champions (GFC) show on 6 – 8 August, allowing up and coming talents to perform on a world-class stage.

It will be a launchpad for the show jumping stars of the next generation. Young horses will take again the stage from 9 – 11 August.

The incredible season at Tops International Arena culminates in the 12th leg of the prestigious Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL team series from 20 – 22 August.

CSI2*, CSI1* and YH classes will also take place, allowing the 5* riders to make the most of fantastic facilities by bringing along some of their less experienced horses.

TIA is making a breathtaking return to grass this year with a completely new surface for 2021. The 125m by 85m innovative grass arena will allow numerous international and young riders coming to Valkenswaard to compete on both sand and grass arenas highest quality footing.

With safety, the number one priority, Tops International Arena continues to work closely with the Dutch authorities and the FEI governing body to ensure the events follow strict health protocols under the COVID-19 regulations.
